The Radius Fabrications Large Pod Airbox Guard Mounted is a high flow intake solution designed specifically for Nissan GQ Patrols running a short-entry snorkel.

Guard-mounted for maximum cold air intake, this airbox delivers excellent airflow while protecting the pod filter from water and dust ingestion. It is engineered for performance-focused setups where space allows and is not compatible with dual battery configurations.

What snorkel does this airbox suit?

This airbox only suits GQ short-entry snorkels.

• GQ short snorkel → suits large pod

• GQ long snorkel → will NOT suit

• Does not suit the standard factory airbox

Will this airbox work with a long-entry snorkel?

No.
The large pod airbox does not suit long-entry snorkels under any circumstances.

Can I run dual batteries with this airbox?

No.
Dual battery setups will NOT fit with the guard-mounted large pod airbox.

If you require dual batteries, you will need the front-corner small pod airbox instead.

Does this airbox come with piping to the turbo?

For GQ Patrol airboxes:

• Customer must source or purchase a custom piping kit

• Piping is typically silicone hose and alloy pipe

• No piping is included

Will this airbox work with a front-mount intercooler?

In most cases, front-mount intercooler piping interferes with this airbox.

We recommend:

• Customer sends clear photos of the engine bay

• Piping may need to run over or under the airbox

• Fitment cannot be guaranteed

Will this airbox suit petrol engines (TB42 / TB45)?

This airbox is designed primarily for TD42 diesel engines.

Some customers have fitted Radius airboxes to petrol Patrols, however:

• It is not recommended

• Fitment cannot be guaranteed
