Unlike the factory plastic airbox, our airbox is CNC-cut and TIG welded from premium aluminium, providing a stronger, more durable intake solution built to withstand harsh Australian conditions. Featuring a clear acrylic inspection lid, servicing your air filter is quick and easy without dismantling the airbox.

Designed specifically for the 2012–2016 Toyota Prado 150 Series 1KD 3.0L Turbo Diesel, this airbox utilises the factory air filter location while delivering increased airflow and a professional OEM-style fit and finish.

Does this airbox fit with my factory snorkel?

Yes. The centre inlet version is designed to suit the factory intake location and many factory-style snorkels.

Will it fit an aftermarket plastic snorkel?

In many cases, yes. If your snorkel follows the factory intake position, the centre inlet version will generally suit. If you're unsure, please contact us with details of your snorkel before ordering.

Is the airbox larger than the factory unit?

Yes. Our airbox has a larger overall design to maximise airflow. Depending on your engine bay accessories (such as catch cans), relocation may be required.

Does the airbox include an air filter?

No. The airbox is designed to use the factory-style panel filter.

Can I inspect the filter without removing the airbox?

Yes. The clear acrylic lid allows you to inspect the condition of your air filter quickly and easily.

Do I need a tune after installation?

No. Under normal circumstances, no ECU tuning is required after installing the airbox.
