Proudly designed and built in Australia, each unit is 3D scanned, CAD designed, and  CNC cut from high-quality aluminium before being TIG welded by our skilled fabrication team. The result is a tough, high-flow airbox that’s built to perform in the harshest Australian conditions.

The Colorado Airbox features a clear acrylic lid, making it easy to inspect your filter and airbox internals at a glance allowing you to spot dust or debris long before performance is affected.

Fitment Information

• Fits Holden Colorado RG models (2012 onwards).

• Mounts in the factory airbox location; however, please note that brackets may occasionally pick up slightly different mounting holes depending on model year.

• Inner guard trimming may be required for some vehicles where the airbox port extends approximately 15mm too far into the guard.

• Compatible with Radius Fabrications snorkels and other 4” snorkels.

Installation

Installation can be done at home or professionally.
Typical installation time: 2–3 hours.

Steps include:

1. Remove the factory airbox and intake ducting.

2. Test-fit the new airbox in the factory position and trim the inner guard if necessary.

3. Secure the airbox using supplied brackets and hardware.

4. Connect snorkel piping and ensure all joins are tight and sealed.

5. Fit the supplied Aeroflow filter and inspection lid.

6. Check for air leaks and confirm proper alignment before driving.

Professional installation is recommended for the best results, especially if installing alongside a snorkel.

Why is the airbox port hitting the inner guard?
If the port is 15mm too long, a small section of the inner guard may need to be trimmed for clearance.

Yes, the Colorado airbox is fabricated to suit both short-entry and mid-entry Radius snorkels.

Does the airbox have a drainage port?
Yes, it includes an open drainage port. For river crossings, we recommend fitting the supplied M8 bolt; for daily driving, it can remain open.

Does the airbox suit the Safari snorkel?
Yes, the airbox aligns with the factory position and can work with a Safari snorkel; however, customers will need to supply or fabricate the connecting piping, as we don’t provide that with the airbox.

Is professional installation required?
While installation can be done as a DIY project, we recommend professional fitting to ensure correct alignment and sealing.

Is the snorkel and airbox suitable for the RC model?
No, our current range only suits RG models, not RC variants.
