The GU Patrol went through several body and guard changes across its production run, and a snorkel built for an earlier series will not always sit correctly on a Series 4 vehicle. We fabricate this snorkel specifically to suit the Series 4 body lines, which means the fitment, the bend angles, and the guard positioning are all matched to this generation of GU rather than forced to fit from an earlier design.

304 Grade Stainless Steel Construction
This snorkel is fabricated from 304 grade stainless steel, chosen for its strength and corrosion resistance. Unlike coated mild steel alternatives, the corrosion resistance on this snorkel comes from the material itself rather than a surface treatment that can chip or wear away on the track. For a component that lives on the exterior of the vehicle and takes constant exposure to sun, rain, mud, and dust, that matters over the long term.
Every snorkel is CAD designed, CNC cut, and hand fabricated by our team, which gives us tight control over fitment accuracy and finish quality across every unit we produce.
Engine and Airbox Compatibility
The Series 4 snorkel suits TD42 and ZD30 powered GU Patrols and is compatible with the standard factory airbox, a Radius Fabrications airbox, or aftermarket 3, 3.5, or 4 inch airboxes. This flexibility means the snorkel works whether you're keeping your factory intake setup or upgrading to a purpose built airbox down the track.
If you're running a TB48 petrol engine, additional modifications and piping will be required to connect this snorkel to your intake system. We do not supply these components, so it's worth planning for that extra work if you're fitting this to a petrol Series 4.
Standard shipping includes silicone to suit the standard airbox unless you specify otherwise when ordering. If you're pairing this snorkel with a different airbox configuration, let us know in your order notes so we can supply the correct fitment components.
Finish and Style Options
This snorkel is available in a range of styles, including rear facing, low cut, and forward facing configurations, along with multiple finish options including polished stainless, powder coated black, and seamless variants in both polished and powder coated finishes. Choosing the right style and finish depends on your build direction and how you want the snorkel to sit against your Series 4 body lines.
It's worth noting our snorkels are not classed as seamless as standard. The standard finish will show a small, visible TIG weld join at each bend, which is normal for a fabricated snorkel of this type. If a fully seamless finish is important to your build, select the seamless option when ordering.
Installation Notes
The kit includes the drivers side stainless snorkel, a fitting template, silicone joiners, hose clamps, mounting brackets, and instructions. We recommend using an air hacksaw when cutting the guard, as this gives the cleanest possible result and avoids the rough edges that can come from other cutting methods.
